•examine the outcome and the item description
•discuss why an item is described as a Knowledge, Application, or Analysis question
•identify patterns of student performance within strands, outcomes, and/or levels of question
•use the curriculum documents to support the next steps in instruction for the class and individual students

The document is intended as a support for all elementary teachers, in particular grades 4 – 6 teachers. There are five Lessons Learned in this document. Each lesson is supported by the assessment results, along with pedagogy; next steps in instruction for a class or individual students, and appropriate methods and activities for assessing student learning. The document is a wonderful support for professional development.

Other topics covered will include navigating through the text, adjusting page magnification/view, how to take and share notes, how to highlight passages of text, how to access the added content in the text such as program masters, and how to access the videos and virtual manipulatives.
